Sailors, paddleboarders and kayakers can practice their skills from many launch spots, while swimmers can enjoy the gentle beaches or braver dips in the wild sea. Lifeguards are in service at beaches Freathy, Sharrow, Tregantle and Tregonhawke.

Elsewhere on the peninsula, Cyclists will find plenty to love too. With scenic rides along quiet country lanes, challenging hill climbs and rewarding coastal routes. The Torpoint Ferry or Cremyll Ferry adds a touch of adventure, just cross the Tamar and link up with cycle routes heading through Plymouth to the Moors.
And a short hop away in Millbrook, the recently build skate park (what3words) provides a brilliant spot for skaters and BMX riders to practice their tricks.
